Who we are

Najam Institute is a non-political educational institute based in Atlanta, GA, dedicated to classical Islamic learning and designed to serve all members of the Muslim community.

To that end, we offer weekly seminars on various topics, including seerah, purification of the heart, signs of the final hour, tafseer, and more.

All programs at Najam Institute are based on the Quran and the Sunnah as understood by the Sahabah (Companions) and the Salaf Saliheen (Pious Predecessors), with a respect for all scholars of the Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. Our instructors are authentic scholars who teach in the traditional way, with an emphasis on practically applying what is learned in class to one’s life.

Our Mission & Vision

In the current age of globalization and technology, Muslims are bombarded with information from many sources. Sometimes, it can be difficult to discern which sources and information are legitimate, in order to gain a foundation of fundamental Islamic knowledge.

Due to this confusion, many people fail to seek any Islamic knowledge at all. The result of this lack of knowledge is a spiritual darkness.

Like the stars in the night guide those who are engulfed in darkness, Najam Institute seeks to reach out to each individual Muslim and provide him/her with the opportunity to gain authentic Islamic knowledge and implement it in his/her life.
